Doug Miller has over 30 years of global experience in the CDMO space specializing in engineering, automation, validation and maintenance.
Prior to joining Sharp Sterile Manufacturing, Doug was Head of Operations and Engineering for Thermo Fisher Scientific and was responsible for designing, building, and starting up a cell therapy site in San Francisco. Previous to his work at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Doug was Head of Engineering, Validation, and Maintenance at Lonza Biologics. Doug also spent nearly 20 years with Patheon and Bristol Myers Squibb in North Carolina, working in various engineering management roles.
Doug holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in business administration.
