BSM strives to make it affordable and convenient for parents to come to work at BSM. Parents love Busy Bee child care, a nonprofit youth organization located on site at BSM. Busy Bee has an accredited infant, toddler program, pre-school program. All BSM employees get a 25% discount on tuition. Extended child care hours paid by us.

Public and Private Schools

Berkshire County’s public schools offer small class sizes and are nationally ranked. Your children are not required to go to the school in the town they live which gives you options in your child’s education. Furthermore, the Berkshires is home to two top private prep schools: the Berkshire School and Miss Hall’s.

The Berkshires are home to beautiful sights, streams, and mountain views. Tucked in the Appalachian mountains, there are countless hikes, rivers, and lakes to explore and play in. This is the perfect area for an outdoorsman – whether you like, hiking, biking, fishing, or even a drive with views that are bewitching.

Museums, Galleries, & Performing Arts

Western Massachusetts is rich with art and theatre. We are home to several old architectural masterpieces, homes, and estates, such as The Mount, Chesterwood, Naumkeag, Ventfort Hall, and Arrowhead. You can witness some of the greatest art collections in the country at the Norman Rockwell Museum, Mass MOCA, and the Clark Institute. Want some entertainment? Barrington Stage Theater and Shakespeare & Company put on several productions through out the year, and Tanglewood and Jacob’s Pillow are right in our backyard.

Winter Sports

The Berkshire is a popular tourist area year round. In the winter, our trails are open to snowshoers and cross-country skiers. There are also multiple ski resorts situated within a 40 minute drive of Lee.

Location to the City

Lee, MA is located right off the Massachusetts Turnpike. If you like the occasional weekend get-away to a big city, we are a two hour drive from Boston and a three hour drive from New York City.
